Nightman is a minor antagonist and the opposite of Dayman, being able to control darkness. He appears as the main antagonist of the "Dayman" sub-plot in Dayshift at Freddy's 2.

Appearance

The Nightman is a caucasian man, with short black hair. His eyes are cat-like, and outlined in black paint. He wears black clothes.

Information

The Nightman first appears in the Night 1 minigame, in which Freddy Fazbender wanders along the Bakersfield location, until he comes across the Nightman, who attacks Freddy, ending the minigame.

He reappears as a boss in the Night 3 minigame, when Freddy becomes the Dayman, confronting the Nightman on the Toys' show stage. After a battle, the Nightman is defeated, promptly exploding.

Trivia

• The Nightman is a direct reference to an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, specifically Season 4, Episode 13: "The Nightman Cometh"
