Sporthead Phone has other meanings. See Phone (disambiguation) for other uses. Sporthead

Phone Guys are spring-locked Freddy's employees taken to Afton Robotics to be turned into a phone-headed, ideal manager, for one of the Fazbender pizza joints. If a Phone Guy fails their job and has their pizzeria shut down, they will be sent back to the Factory and will most likely never be used again. Phone Guys are robots, described as "while life-like, are not human." All Phone Guys (except for Joe) are incapable of swearing due to their programming. Most of them are also programmed to like Foxy. Era 1 models were produced in the 1970's, era 2 models were produced in the 1980's, and era 3 models in the early 1990's.

Generations[]

Era 0[]

Generation 0 Phone Guys consist entirely of Scott Cawthon, along with the original five managers (excluding Harry, who is the first era 1) and are described as "a beta test", with each member of era 0 having a problem that was removed in subsequent Phone Guys and more notably, in era 1.

Era 1[]

One of the biggest problems with era 0 is that the Phone Guys remembered their previous lives and attempted to contact their families. In response, the era 1 models were changed to have no memories of their previous lives in order to avoid this problem.

Era 2[]

Due to the "headaches" the era 1 phones gave the company, the AI was toned back significantly, allowing more of the original Phone Guy's personality to shine through and, consequently, allowing pieces of memories to re-emerge. Reconnecting an era 2 Phone Guy to their past life allows them to remember most things about who they once were. According to Dave in the "Start Your Own Freddy Fazbenders Pizzeria Location Kit", this can be avoided by regularly wiping the Phone Guys answering machine.

Era 3[]

Era 3 models exhibit the least changes due to the fact that there is little to no AI employed in the Phone Guys mind, allowing Phone Guys to remember almost all of their past lives, though how much they remember varies from person to person. Instead of wiping the memories of Phone Guys, they are simply threatened with what would happen to them if they ran away from the location. Due to the number of Freddy's locations severely depleting following the Bite of '87, not many era 3 models were produced.

Notable Members[]

Scott Cawthon[]

Scott Cawthon, or 01_01, was the founder of Freddy Fazbender's and the first and true Scott Cawthon. He died while performing after hitting his head on a table and bleeding out. To bring him back, the company turned him into a living phone-employee; creating the "generation 0" of Phone Guys. However, he was later discarded by Fazbender's due to his unnaturalness and the suffering he was going through. His personality as a manager was used as a model to adjust the AI of the Phone Guys.

Steven[]

Main article: Steven

Steven Stevenson, or 14_02, was the Phone Guy who managed the Colorado location during DSaF 1. He wears a black suit and has a red phone for a head. After the Colorado location was shut down, he was scrapped and ended up in The Flipside.

John[]

John, or 06_1, was the Phone Guy who managed the Arizona location. He wears a blue short-sleeved shirt and has a black phone for a head. 06_1 was scrapped when he attempted to jump into the Grand Canyon to reunite with Arizona Foxy after Dave Miller threw him into the Grand Canyon.

Peter []

Main article: Peter Kennedy

Peter Kennedy was the Phone Guy who managed the Bakersfield location during DSaF 2. He wears a light blue, long-sleeved shirt, black pants and a red phone (much smaller and shorter than the Steven's one) for a head. He is Jack's (Old Sport) and Dee's (The Puppet) brother and had a son with Caroline, his wife. Continuing the canon ending of DSaF 2 (Perfect Ending), Peter dies of old age and ends up in The Flipside.

Harry[]

Main article: Harry

Harry Fitzgerald, or 14_01, is the predetermined Phone Guy that Jack receives in DSaF 3. He is a long-time company regular and the older running Phone Guy, being described as an "antique" from the generation 1. He wears a black formal suit and has a black rotary phone for a head. He was one of the original 5 managers and worked at the Utah location, the location 14, the location 32 and the Factory; where he met Rebecca.

Jake[]

Main article: Jake Wilson

Jake Wilson, or 53_1, is one of the Phone Guys that Jack can hire in DSaF 3; and the one that replaces Harry in the game. He is a generation 2 model (produced in the 80's) and the only Phone Guy to come from the Nebraska location. He wears a black formal suit and has a purple rotary phone. Jake was married, until his wife died and left him a widower with his son, Jason Wilson.

Roger[]

Main article: Roger Jones

Roger Jones, or 49_1, is one of the Phone Guys that Jack can hire in DSaF 3; and the one that replaces Jake. He wears a black formal suit and has a orange phone for a head. He worked at the Western Texas location, east of El Paso and at the Utah location. Roger, as all generation 3 Phone Guys, has full memories of his previous live; which he describes as mediocre. He divorced his wife and fell into problems of alcoholism that led him to enter Freddy's when he was 30.

Walt, Max or Stanley[]

This Phone Guy can be Walt Grouse, Max Hanson, or Stanley Johnson; depending on which the player hires. After one of them is caught in an springlock failure, Harry, Jake or Roger can offer the player the choice to send one of them to Afton Robotics. If the player agrees, they will be back a month later. They wear a black formal suit (the same as Steven, Harry, Jake and Roger) and all have a green phone for a head.

Joe[]

Joe Fawkes was one of the original 5 managers and a very-close friend of Harry. He told Harry about his past and helped him remember small parts of his life. He wears a blue formal suit with a grey tie and a black rotary phone for a head. Joe got scrapped, after enormous suffering, when the metal around his spinal cord rusted.

Abel[]

Abel Brannigan was one of the original 5 managers and the last to become a Phone Guy. He was hated by everyone, and when he realized the danger springlocks posed, he decided to never utilize one. Abel wore a black formal suit and a grey candlestick phone for a head. He got his phone-head when Everret, Terrence and Joe locked him in the production room of the Factory with "the Machine".

Everett[]

Everett Scott was one of the original 5 managers. He was described as a kind soul, known for his formal way of dressing. He wore a blue suit with a bow tie and a "Eiffel Tower" golden rotary phone for a head. Everett was killed by Freddy while cleaning up the remains of a murdered nightguard.

Terrence[]

Terrence Chapman was one of the original 5 managers who worked with Harry at location 6. He was an optimist; and wore a rotary white telephone for a head and a blue formal suit with a dotted tie. He died in an elevator accident at the Factory.

Rebecca[]

Main article: Rebecca

Not much is known about Rebecca except that she manages the Factory and handles its phone calls. She is the only Phone Gal (if Steven's alleged wife is not counted) and worked with Harry at the Factory. Rebecca wears a pink shirt and a rotary pink telephone.

Scott "Hula-hoop" Cawthon[]

Scott "Hula-hoop" Cawthon was the spokesperson of Freddy Fazbender's Pizzeria until his death, when he stopped hula-looping for a second and his innards became ennards. He was an important figure in the Fazburger locations and the one in charge of explaining to the press the controversy about the quality of hamburgers.

Trivia[]

  • Phone Guys being phone-headed managers are likely references to fans depicting the FNaF Phone Guy as a telephone-headed human.
  • During the second Flipside segment, if the player interacts with a cloud decoration in the wall, Dave will tell Jack that when Toy Freddy realized he couldn't leave the restaurant, he suffered a meltdown and attacked a Phone Guy, splitting open his phone-head; whose skull was carried around by a Doggo for an entire month.
  • The Phone Guys having Foxy as their favorite animatronic was a decision made by Fazbender's to make them seem more human.
  • Terrence and Abel both appear in Dialtown, another game by DirectDoggo.
  • Half of the staff team are either on fire, pregnant, or literally dead.
